Business Immigration Paralegal

Location: Miami, FL

Work Arrangement: Full-time, in person

Salary: $52,000–$60,000 per year, plus performance bonuses

About the Opportunity

A boutique immigration law firm is seeking an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join its team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of cases, working directly with clients, and managing matters from intake through filing.

You will work closely with the principal attorney on a varied caseload that includes E-2, H-1B, L-1, O-1, PERM, EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 matters, as well as naturalization and select family-based cases.

The firm maintains a manageable caseload that allows the team to focus on accuracy, client service, and high-quality work.

Responsibilities

Manage business immigration cases from client intake through filing
Draft petitions, applications, supporting letters, and other case documents
Prepare PERM, E-visa, O-1, and other employment-based immigration filings
Draft responses to Requests for Evidence
Gather and review supporting documents from clients and employers
Communicate with clients regarding deadlines, documentation, and case progress
Maintain organized and accurate electronic case files
Track filing deadlines and keep cases moving efficiently
Assist with naturalization and select family immigration matters
Work directly with the principal attorney on case strategy and preparation

Qualifications

At least three years of dedicated business immigration experience
Experience preparing PERM, E-visa, or O-1 filings
Experience drafting responses to Requests for Evidence
Ability to manage client intake and cases independently
Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail
Professional communication and client service skills
Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
Spanish fluency is required
Italian language skills are strongly preferred
