Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced, Bilingual Immigration Paralegal with at least 5 years of full-time experience to take ownership of a robust and diverse caseload. Salary for this role is strictly commensurate with experience and skill level. In this position, you will work closely with our attorneys to draft, prepare, and finalize complex immigration filings. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep technical knowledge of immigration procedures, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Management and Preparation: Draft, compile, and finalize high-stakes immigration filings, including family-based petitions, adjustment of status, asylum, waivers (I-601A/I-601), and removal defense application.
- Legal Research and Drafting: Conduct thorough legal research and draft compelling motions, legal briefs, and client declarations for Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and USCIS proceedings.
- Client Consultation and Advocacy: Serve as a primary, trusted point of contact for clients; conduct deep-dive intake interviews, gather critical evidence, and provide transparent updates.
- Deadline Enforcement: Manage strict legal calendars, monitor court dockets, and ensure all filings, motions, and evidence packets are submitted accurately and ahead of schedule.
- Tech Optimization: Utilize Clio to maintain flawless digital case files, track milestones, and optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of full-time dedicated experience as an immigration paralegal, with proven expertise in family-based petitions and removal defense.
- Bilingual Fluency: Professional verbal and written fluency in both English and Spanish is strictly required.
- Software Prerequisite: Prior hands-on experience utilizing a legal case management system is a mandatory prerequisite for this position (Experience with Clio is a highly valued bonus).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of USCIS procedures, NVC processes, and EOIR rules.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $50,000 – $80,000 / year (Commensurate with experience and skill level) + bonuses.

Note: All benefits and paid time off begin 60 days after the start of employment and upon the successful completion of a probationary period.
