About the Role
VisaNation Law Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Immigration Attorney to lead complex employment-based immigration matters, manage corporate client relationships, and oversee our paralegal team.
This senior-level role requires exceptional legal expertise, strong leadership, excellent client communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. The attorney will also contribute to practice development, operational improvements, and the firm's content and thought leadership initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Expertise: Lead complex immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, PERM, O-1, E-2, TN, EB-1, EB-2 NIW, I-140, adjustment of status, and consular processing.
- Client Relationships: Advise corporate clients, senior HR professionals, and hiring managers on immigration strategies and compliance.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor paralegals, maintain high standards of quality and productivity, and improve processes and workflows.
- Content & Thought Leadership: Contribute to educational videos, webinars, social media, and legal articles to strengthen VisaNation's visibility and reputation.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with firm leadership to improve efficiency and client experience through technology, automation, and AI-assisted tools.
Qualifications
- J.D. and active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
- 7+ years of substantial business immigration experience with deep expertise in employment-based visas and green cards.
- 3+ years of experience managing paralegals or legal staff and improving processes and workflows.
- Proven experience advising corporate clients and communicating with senior HR leaders and hiring managers.
- Exceptional work ethic: Demonstrated ability to manage demanding workloads, take ownership of outcomes, and work 45–50 hours per week when needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with immigration case management systems and technology-driven workflows.
- Highly preferred: 2+ years of hands-on experience with professional content creation, including videos, webinars, social media, and legal articles.
