A well-regarded mid-size immigration practice is seeking an experienced associate to join its employment-based, corporate immigration team. This is an opportunity to step into a client-facing role supporting sophisticated organizations across industries including healthcare, technology, and academia, while taking on leadership responsibilities within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. This role can be fully remote, or hybrid, based out of their New York, Philadelphia, or DC offices.
The role is focused on employment-based immigration matters and offers meaningful exposure to complex casework, client strategy, and team management. Attorneys in this group typically support a primary large client alongside additional corporate matters, allowing for both depth and variety in practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage a high-volume caseload of employment-based immigration matters, including both NIV and IV filings
- Prepare and oversee H-1B, L-1, TN, and PERM cases, as well as adjustment of status applications
- Respond to complex RFEs and audits and develop case strategy for corporate clients
- Advise clients on compliance, workforce planning, and immigration program management
- Supervise and mentor paralegals and junior associates
- Collaborate across teams to support client initiatives and improve internal processes
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of employment-based immigration experience
- Strong exposure to H-1B, L-1, TN, and PERM matters
- Experience managing high-volume caseloads and working with corporate clients
- Ability to operate independently while leading and delegating effectively
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
