Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM*

About the Role (Litigation-Focused)
This position is primarily focused on removal defense and litigation. The attorney will lead representation of clients in immigration court and before government agencies, ensuring clients are thoroughly prepared and effectively represented.
While the role includes consultations, case reviews, and drafting, the main responsibility is defending clients in removal proceedings and representing them at interviews and hearings.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in removal proceedings (EOIR) and before USCIS, ICE, and U.S. consulates
- Prepare clients thoroughly for hearings and interviews
- Provide strong, competent, and ethical representation
- Conduct immigration consultations as needed
- Review cases and assist with legal strategy
- Draft and review applications and supporting documents
- Maintain organized and accurate case files
Schedule & Travel Expectations
- Standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Flexibility is required; earlier or after-hours work may be necessary depending on hearings or interviews
- Most hearings and consultations are in South Florida or conducted via Zoom/Webex
- Travel is required, including appearances throughout Florida and occasional out-of-state travel
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of immigration law experience
- Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Active bar license in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction)
- Experience with EOIR, USCIS, ICE, and consular processing
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Professional, detail-oriented, and reliable
