Role Description The Immigration Attorney will provide full-time, on-site legal services at our Los Angeles, CA office. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on immigration options, preparing and filing petitions and applications, and representing clients before immigration agencies and, when appropriate, in court proceedings. The Attorney will conduct legal research, analyze case facts, and develop strategies for matters such as citizenship, visas, family-based immigration, and other immigration benefits. The role also involves maintaining accurate case files, communicating regularly with clients about case status, and collaborating with support staff to ensure timely and effective case management. The Attorney is expected to stay current with changes in immigration law and policy and apply this knowledge to client matters.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Immigration Law, including Immigration Issues and general Immigration practice.
- Experience handling cases involving Visas and related Legal Issues.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and good standing with the relevant bar.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in an office setting.
- Effective communication and client counseling skills; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Prior experience in immigration practice or a strong interest and coursework in immigration law preferred.
