We are seeking a strategic, dynamic, and visionary Immigration Director to lead our team into its next phase of growth and innovation. The Immigration Director will oversee the firm’s legal operations and ensure that the organization thrives through sound legal and business practices, supporting a self-sufficient and sustainable business model. This position requires managing the firm’s legal strategies, operations, and financial performance while maintaining alignment with the firm's mission, values, and goals. The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in legal management, a strong commitment to pro-immigrant advocacy, and exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational skills. The Immigration Director must commit to a minimum tenure of three (3) years.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the New York State Bar Association.
- Minimum of three years of experience practicing immigration law, with a strong focus on
immigrant advocacy work is preferred. - In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to work
effectively with diverse populations. - Demonstrated commitment to social justice and advocacy for immigrant rights.
