DeBellis Aviv Pardini LLP is seeking a senior associate with five years of experience as a business immigration attorney to handle a robust case load of institutional and individual clients in all aspects of business and family immigration, but with a niche focus on arts-related cases and clients. We need an associate who is self-motivated, confident and knowledgeable who can embody the firm’s core values: we are direct, we get things done and we follow through.
DeBellis Aviv Pardini provides boutique immigration counsel to a global network of artists, entertainers, entrepreneurs, investors and other people and organizations of exceptional talent. Together, they have over 30 years of experience in law practice and maintain the firm’s tradition of providing expert legal services to a diverse and vibrant roster of clients.
From day one the Senior Associate will be handling the following responsibilities:
- Evaluate and advise on visa options / risks in a clear and confident matter
- Provide clear, timely and direct strategic advice to clients
- Follow firm protocols to efficiently prepare cases, including utilizing on-site and off-site paralegals for case preparation services
- Oversee and manage a robust case load while ensuring A+ client communication as well as high quality and accurate legal work
- Provide individualized and nuanced legal services to clients in a bespoke office setting that caters towards white glove service
- Support law partners as needed with their existing case loads
Qualifications:
- This position requires a J.D. and bar admission to practice in at least one U.S. state
- Five (5) years of experience as a business immigration attorney
- Experience preparing employment-based cases (especially O, TN, E-1/E-2, E-3, H-1B, and L-1), as well as family-based adjustment of status, nonimmigrant and immigrant visa consular processing, and naturalization.
- Experience with PERM applications and immigrant visa petitions
- Experience with Extraordinary Ability arts/business and Multinational Manager petitions is a must
- Must have extraordinary communication skills, be a self-starter, and take responsibility for demanding timelines and expectations
- Desire to work in a white glove law firm where proper communication with clients is paramount and legal excellence is required on every case

We offer a reasonable base salary and then bonus tiers for quarterly performance.
