What You’ll Be Doing
We’re looking for a hands-on, execution-focused Senior/Lead Attorney who can take ownership from day one. In this role, you will:
- Independently manage a high-volume caseload covering H-1B, L-1, PERM, O-1, EB-1, EB-2 NIW, Investor visa and related matters.
- Lead and manage a team of immigration paralegals and assistants.
- Keep things moving quickly, accurately, and consistently, even when the pressure is on.
- Actively use our case management systems and tools to make your day-to-day work more efficient.
Is This Role for You? This role is a good fit for someone who naturally thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You’re the right candidate if you have a track record of delivering results consistently without needing someone looking over your shoulder.
Candidly, this role is not a good fit if you prefer low-volume or purely advisory work, or if you struggle with tight deadlines and heavy workloads. Work ethic is the single biggest predictor of success here. We are strictly looking for someone whose output/drive put them in the top 5% of the field.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of business immigration experience specifically in a high-volume law firm.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with H-1Bs, L-1s, PERMs, O-1s, EB-1s, and EB-2 NIWs.
- Leadership: 3+ years of experience leading and managing paralegals or legal assistants.
- The H-1B Stress Test (Strict Requirement): You must have independently managed 100+ H-1B cases (with paralegal support) during a single March–April lottery season.
- Tech-Savvy: Demonstrated experience with immigration case management systems, automations and workflows.
Bonus Points:
- Experience running client consultations.
- A great track record of building trust and retaining clients.
- A knack for spotting bottlenecks and suggesting process improvements to make the team more efficient.
