Soni is supporting a global AmLaw firm with its search for experience Business Immigration Associates. The Associate role involves working as a business immigration attorney responsible for managing complex cases, conducting legal research, and preparing and filing petitions with minimal supervision. The position requires applying legal precedent to develop tailored solutions, clearly communicating complex issues, and building strong client relationships through proactive engagement and high-quality service. The associate is also expected to mentor junior staff, ensure compliance with firm protocols, and contribute to process improvements and business development efforts. Success in this role requires a JD or LLM with bar admission, several years of relevant experience, and deep expertise in business immigration law. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, are essential.

Job Responsibilities

Develop deep expertise in client industries, immigration law, and firm services.
Independently manage complex cases, including research, strategy, preparation, and filings.
Apply legal knowledge and precedent to create effective, tailored client solutions.
Communicate complex issues clearly and build strong, proactive client relationships.
Lead and support teams through mentoring, oversight, and adherence to firm processes and compliance standards.
Drive business success by meeting productivity goals, improving processes, and contributing to growth and client development initiatives.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM degree and active membership in a U.S. state or D.C. bar.
3–5 years of relevant Associate-level experience with strong immigration law expertise.
Strong communication skills, including clear writing, proofreading, and professional verbal ability.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented approach to work.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to client service and a positive work environment.

Compensation: $160,000-195,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
