Nicole True Law Firm, P.C., a well-established immigration and criminal defense law firm in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Spanish-speaking Immigration Attorney with 5+ years of experience in family-based and USCIS humanitarian-based immigration to join a supportive and small practice in a hybrid role (2 days in office).
You are a leader and know how to manage in a positive way to bring out the best in your team members. You have deep technical knowledge of immigration law and case types. You’re always looking to improve, welcome feedback, and are constantly looking for ways to make the case preparation process better and more efficient and ultimately more successful for the client.
Key info about the role:
- Salary Range: $120K/year to $150K/year, depending on experience and demonstrated value, plus twice-a-year bonus structure based on hitting KPIs and dependent on firm profits.
- Growth + Professional Development: Opportunities for advancement and potential firm ownership for the right candidate as well as mentorship by the firm’s owner and managing attorney.
- Work Location: Hybrid role in Austin, Texas, at least 2 days in office per week. May also attend court dates in San Antonio.
- Language/J.D./Bar Admission: Fluency/professional proficiency in Spanish both written and oral is required. Seeking candidates with a J.D. who are licensed to practice in any U.S. state with preference for Texas admission.

- Start Date: ASAP.
- Day-to-Day: Manage (with the help of legal assistants) preparation and filing of USCIS cases including T visas, U visas, VAWAs, other humanitarian visas, and I-130s/AOS/CP. Prepare RFEs and conduct research and analysis especially regarding grounds of inadmissibility and waivers. Conduct client consultations, do in-depth and accurate case assessments, and manage ongoing client communication. Attend USCIS interviews with clients. Additionally, there is a possibility of removal work.
