Job Description:

Our mid-sized Austin-based immigration law firm, Azarmehr Law Group (ALG), is seeking an Immigration Attorney to join our dedicated team.

Qualifications:

· Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school;

· Active license to practice law in any U.S. state (Texas preferred);

· At least 2 years of experience practicing immigration law, required; and

· Experience with employment-based immigration (PERM, H-1B, L-1, TN, etc.) preferred.

Job Duties:

· Prepare, review, and file employment-based immigration petitions and applications, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa cases;

· Provide strategic legal advice to clients and corporate employers regarding immigration options and compliance;

· Represent clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Labor (DOL), and other relevant agencies;

· Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and government officials to advance case progress; and

· Conduct legal research and stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and policy updates.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

· Strong analytical and legal writing skills;

· Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;

· Extreme attention to detail and accuracy;

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

· Professional demeanor and client-focused approach;

· Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and case management software; and

· Self-motivated with strong initiative and a positive attitude.
