Azarmehr Law Group (ALG), a mid-sized immigration law firm in Austin, is seeking an ambitious Employment-Based Immigration Paralegal to join our team. This position is on-site in Austin, Texas, and candidates must currently reside in the Austin area.

Applicants must have at least one year of hands-on employment-based immigration experience, including TN, H-1B, I-140, and I-485 matters. Candidates whose experience is limited to family-based immigration will not be considered. Experience with PERM labor certifications is preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of employment-based immigration experience required.
Experience preparing and filing employment-based TN, H-1B, I-140, and I-485 matters required.
Experience with PERM labor certifications preferred but not required.
Must reside within a commutable distance of Austin, Texas.

Job Duties:

Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of employment-based immigration applications and petitions;
Handle client communications and work with government officials to move cases forward;
Perform legal research as needed.
