Job Summary:
National Law Firm is seeking an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join the fast-paced and high-volume Immigration Group in New York City. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with deep employment-based immigration experience to play a key role in supporting sophisticated client matters.
What You'll Do:
- Intake and assess new cases, troubleshoot issues, and help develop case strategy
- Analyze supporting documents and prepare employment-based immigration filings
- Draft petitions, applications, and supporting letters (e.g., H-1B, L-1)
- Monitor and manage case progress from start to finish
- Communicate updates, issues, and deadlines with attorneys and team members
- Take ownership of assigned cases and ensure timely completion
What You Bring:
- 4+ years of business immigration experience
- Extensive H-1B and L-1 experience required
- Strong understanding of immigration law, legal terminology, and research techniques
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree required
