Job Overview
Boutique Immigration law firm seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various areas of immigration , including but not limited to asylums, family-based and employment- based petitions, adjustment of status, u-visas, vawa petitions, naturalizations and removal proceedings. This role requires excellent research and writing skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues. The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys to provide high-quality legal services and support. Ability to communicate in Spanish and English with clients is preferable.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on various cases and legal issues.
- Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, contracts, and pleadings.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial by organizing evidence and preparing exhibits.
- Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates on case progress, and explain legal options.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
- Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience or coursework in immigration law
- Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
