Who We Are

ZMK Law, founded by first-generation immigrant and woman leader Merve Kati, Esq., is a boutique immigration law firm based in New York. We are looking for an Experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our team. This is a hybrid position, with 1–2 days per week in our Long Island office and the remainder remote. Our firm operates in English, Spanish, and Turkish.

What You’ll Do

Handle family-based and humanitarian immigration cases, including document collection, form preparation, legal drafting and case organization under attorney supervision
Track deadlines and maintain accurate, well-organized case files
Work closely with the entire team in a collaborative environment
Support internal workflows to ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met
Communicate directly with clients in English and Spanish
Take on responsibility for serving as a point of escalation for case-related questions, as well as assisting with training and staff development

Who You Are

An experienced immigration paralegal with a minimum of 2–3 years of experience
Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly, confidently, and strategically when interacting with clients
Committed to delivering high-quality work and excellent client service
Able to manage a workload with accuracy and consistency
Tech-savvy and comfortable working in a modern law firm environment
A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Able to commute to our Long Island office 1–2 days per week as needed
