ZMK Law is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our growing immigration law firm in a hybrid position based in Melville, New York. This role requires in-office presence approximately 1–2 days per week, with the remaining schedule being remote-flexible depending on workflow and performance.

Please note carefully: This is not simply a form-preparation position.

Our priority is to hire someone who can become a true right-hand person to the Principal Attorney — someone exceptionally strong in attorney support, team coordination, case oversight, strategic communication, and leadership within a fast-paced immigration practice.

We are specifically looking for someone who has experience leading a legal team, managing workflow, keeping cases organized across multiple staff members, and helping maintain operational structure within a growing law firm environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, calm under pressure, emotionally intelligent, detail-oriented, and exceptionally strong in professional communication. You must know how to manage both people and process effectively.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of immigration law experience preferred
Strong experience preparing and managing immigration filings
Prior experience leading, supervising, or coordinating a legal team strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Professional maturity, discretion, and strong judgment
Strong understanding of deadlines, case management, and client communication
Must be highly reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented

Compensation will depend heavily on experience, leadership ability, communication skills, organizational strength, and overall fit for the role.
