Our client, a leading global law firm with a nationally ranked business immigration practice in Washington, DC is seeking a Business Immigration Paralegal to join its fast‑moving, high‑impact team. The group is known for handling the full spectrum of corporate immigration needs from H‑1Bs and L‑1s to PERM and is recognized for its practical, responsive approach to complex employer‑based immigration matters .
Job Overview:
- Prepare and finalize a wide range of immigration filings, including NIV (H‑1B, L‑1, E‑2/3, TN, O‑1), IV (EB‑2/3, NIW, family‑based), and PERM applications.
- Participate in case strategy and intake, including SOC research and wage survey analysis.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with HR teams, managers, and employees across multiple client organizations.
- Track expiration dates and proactively initiate renewals.
- Balance caseload across several attorneys while supporting team initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of paralegal experience, including at least 2 years in business immigration (PERM, O‑1, and EB experience preferred).
- Strong research skills and familiarity with federal, state, and local rules.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology tools.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage shifting priorities, and maintain a polished, professional presence.
- Willingness to work overtime or travel on short notice when needed.
