Zealot (zealotlabs.com) builds AI systems that find zero-days, emulate target devices, and develop working exploits for U.S. defense and intelligence customers. We're backed by tier-1 U.S. venture firms and industry leaders, and our team includes alumni of Anthropic, xAI, NSA, USCYBERCOM, Anduril, and YC.
What you'll do
We're hiring an immigration operator to be the international bridge for Zealot: the person who helps exceptional technical talent from allied countries to join the US team. That means owning the on-the-ground work that keeps international hiring moving: document collection, case tracking, evidence gathering, candidate coordination, deadline management, and the daily follow-through required to turn immigration from a slow paperwork queue into a reliable operating system.
This is an in-house execution role. You'll work closely with candidates, People Ops, hiring teams, legal counsel, export-control stakeholders, and leadership to make sure filings are prepared cleanly, blockers are surfaced early, and candidates are supported from offer through arrival.
You'll support employment-based immigration matters across O-1, H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, J-1 waiver, EB-1, EB-2 NIW, PERM-related processes, and related workstreams. A major part of the role will be collecting and organizing the evidence that makes cases strong — especially for O-1 and EB-style filings: awards, publications, citations, press, recommendation letters, judging, memberships, critical-role evidence, and comparable achievements.
You'll build and maintain the internal case-management system: one source of truth for every candidate, every case, every deadline, every blocker, and every next action. We care about time-to-start in weeks, not months, and we need someone who can keep the process moving without waiting passively for someone else to drive it.
What we're looking for
2+ years of employment-based immigration experience as an immigration paralegal, legal assistant, case manager, immigration coordinator, or in-house immigration operations specialist
Hands-on experience supporting filings such as O-1, H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, EB-1, EB-2 NIW, PERM, or similar employment-based matters
Strong document-collection and case-management skills; you know how to chase missing materials without losing the thread
Experience coordinating with candidates, attorneys, managers, recommenders, universities, prior employers, and internal stakeholders
Comfort managing many active cases at once, with clear trackers, checklists, deadlines, and next actions
High agency and bias to action: you do not wait for perfect instructions, you find the next blocker, unblock it, and keep the case moving
Requirements
U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency.
DC-area presence or willingness to work closely with a DC-based team.
Ability to support immigration and hiring work connected to U.S. defense and intelligence customers.
What we offer
Competitive cash, meaningful early equity, a mission that matters, and the chance to build the immigration operating system for a company hiring at serious speed.
