Our international law firm, with offices in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Rome, is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to provide comprehensive support to our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration procedures, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of various immigration petitions and applications, including family petitions, fiancé visas, investor visas, and waivers.
- Conduct legal research and gather necessary documentation to support immigration cases.
- Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and forms related to immigration proceedings.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with all court and agency requirements.
- Assist with client interviews and prepare detailed case summaries for attorney review.
- Stay current with changes in immigration laws and regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients and attorneys.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge and ability to process immigration cases from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of immigration forms, processes, and legal terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
