Role Description

Administrative, clerical, and paralegal support is handled by our dedicated operations team, ensuring your time is spent where it matters most: mastering case strategy, representing clients in critical hearings, and delivering sophisticated legal analysis. Core Responsibilities
- Architect and execute advanced legal strategies for complex immigration matters, including asylum, cancellation of removal, and specialized waivers.
- Perform the final substantive review of all USCIS and Immigration Court applications to ensure legal sufficiency and strategic alignment.
- Own the drafting and execution of all legal briefing, including motions, appeals, and formal legal opinions on evolving statutory frameworks.
- Serve as lead counsel in high-stakes proceedings before USCIS, ICE, and EOIR, delivering persuasive oral arguments and direct advocacy.
- Provide high-level mentorship to a robust support staff of paralegals who manage all filing, clerical preparation, and administrative workflows.
- Directly engage with clients to provide expert legal consultation, preparation for sensitive interviews, and empathetic representation.
Qualifications
- Strong academic record
- Experience in Immigration Law and Legal Document Preparation for Immigration Court
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills
- Proficiency with Westlaw or Lexis
- Familiarity with Bluebook citation format
- Ability to analyze complex statutory and regulatory frameworks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior immigration law experience
- Law review or journal experience
- Federal court research experience
- Fluency in Spanish is required
