Your Role:
As a Visa Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for owning and managing specific projects within CEA CAPA’s Enrollment and Advising Department designed to contribute to sales and retention goals including but not limited to document collection, support for the visa and immigration process, and other enrollment operations processes as needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with Student Visa webinars as needed.
- Travel to consulates as needed for batch visa appointments.
- Travel to various universities as needed for Visa Voyages.
- Assist with visa and immigration support procedures.
- Assist with the processing of all student documents uploaded through the student portal. This includes:
- Reviewing all documents for accuracy, marking documents received in the Student Information System, and communicating to the account owner or student on any documents that need to be resubmitted.
- Acting as the subject matter expert for approved documents needed according to the specifications of each of our partner institutions and destinations.
- Record notes and create efficiencies in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system regarding all student communication.
- Assist with administrative services related to enrollment promotional activities in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Work collaboratively with various departments across the organization, both domestic and international, to create and continue to improve the student's experience and streamline administrative processes.
- Assist with visa and immigration support procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Starting Salary: $52,000
What Makes a Great Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience required.
- Demonstrated commitment to justice, equity, inclusion, and diversity.
- Experience with education abroad is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience using CRM (Customer Relations Management) databases, Salesforce preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to respect confidentiality and ethical boundaries regarding student privacy.
