We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Criminal & Immigration Attorney to join our legal team. Duties
- Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including arraignments, hearings, trials, and appeals across various jurisdictions.
- Advise clients on immigration matters such as visas, asylum applications, deportation defense, and naturalization processes.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
- Draft and review legal documents including motions, pleadings, affidavits, and client correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Negotiate plea agreements, settlement terms, or immigration solutions that align with clients’ best interests.
- Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, courts, government officials, and community organizations to facilitate case progress.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Georgia, or ability to become licensed promptly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Spanish language proficiency is preferred but not required.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
