Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Cambridge, MA that is seeking an Immigration Specialist. Responsibilities:
- Manage U.S. non-immigrant and immigrant visa processes, including work permits and residency documentation
- Support global immigration matters and coordinate country-specific documentation requirements
- Partner with Service Managers and clients to prepare and complete visa, work permit, and residency applications accurately and in a timely manner
- Initiate and manage cases with outside immigration counsel as needed
- Collaborate with clients regarding sponsorship requirements and related documentation
- Coordinate with internal offices and employees across various countries to facilitate immigration processes
- Communicate with government agencies to obtain certifications and ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain and update immigration files for employees on foreign assignments
- Track visa and work permit case progress and provide regular status updates
- Update internal databases with passport, visa, and assignment information
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in U.S. non-immigrant visa processes (required)
- Experience with global immigration programs and mobility processes (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of immigration compliance, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across internal teams, clients, government agencies, and external counsel
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
