U.S Immigration Specialist
We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented U.S. Immigration Specialist to support the development and day-to-day operations of a focused O-1 program. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that partners closely with Global Mobility, Employment Legal, Recruiting, and external immigration vendors to ensure O-1 cases move accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable requirements.
In this role, you will help build structure, tracking, and operational rigor around a specialized immigration workflow, ensuring clear documentation, consistent communication, and timely case progression. You will serve as a trusted operational partner, supporting employees and stakeholders with clarity and discretion while maintaining high standards of data integrity and compliance.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys operational ownership, and takes pride in creating systems that keep complex processes running smoothly for employees and internal partners. This role reports to our US Immigration Program Lead.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and own end-to-end operations for a focused O-1 program, driving structured intake, timeline management, and milestone execution across multiple concurrent cases.
- Apply strong O-1 subject matter expertise to assess evidentiary positioning, identify gaps early, and partner with immigration counsel to ensure high-quality, strategically sound case progression.
- Build and maintain robust program infrastructure - including detailed trackers, dashboards, and documentation systems - ensuring all cases are organized, transparent, audit-ready, and proactively managed.
- Curate and actively expand a high-quality pipeline of credible professional engagement opportunities aligned to O-1 standards
- Operate within established compliance and conflict-of-interest guardrails, ensuring documentation integrity and maintaining high standards of governance throughout the program lifecycle.
- Partner cross-functionally (e.g., Recruiting, Events, Comms/PR, program partners) to support program coordination and opportunity execution, as applicable.
- Track and report basic program metrics (e.g., opportunity pipeline health, participant progress against milestones, operational throughput) and proactively recommend process improvements to support responsible scaling.
- Reinforce and continuously improve O-1 processes, controls, and playbooks.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience managing complex O-1 visa cases, with a strong understanding of evidentiary standards and documentation strategy
- Demonstrated project management expertise and the ability to run multiple workstreams simultaneously, build structured trackers, manage timelines, and drive milestones forward with minimal oversight.
- Experience partnering directly with high-impact or technical talent, exercising sound judgment in navigating nuanced O-1 eligibility considerations.
- Strong relationship-building and community engagement skills
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create clear, structured documentation and participant-facing guidance.
- High attention to detail and comfort handling confidential information in a compliance-sensitive environment.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining discretion and sound judgment.
