LHH is hiring a Business Immigration Paralegal to join our Atlanta team! This is a great opportunity for an experienced immigration professional who enjoys working with corporate clients, managing complex casework, and contributing to a collaborative legal team. This role offers a hybrid schedule with both in-office and remote flexibility.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll support our immigration attorneys and clients by managing a wide range of employment-based immigration matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing documentation for labor certification filings
- Coordinating all phases of the PERM recruitment process
- Drafting support letters for nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions
- Communicating with clients to gather documents and provide updates
- Collecting required evidence for visa and green card applications
- Conducting case audits and ensuring compliance
- Liaising with government agencies when needed
- Researching filing procedures and application requirements
- Maintaining accurate databases and tracking petition validity dates
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of business immigration experience
- Strong analytical skills and excellent written/verbal communication
- Hands-on experience with temporary work visas (L-1A/L-1B, E-1/E-2, H-1B, O-1), PERM labor certifications, employment-based immigrant visas, consular cases, adjustment of status, and naturalization
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and immigration case-tracking software
- Salary is commensurate with experience
