Job Summary:
LHH is currently recruiting for a law firm in the Atlanta market for a Immigration Paralegal. This role offers an opportunity for an experienced immigration professional to step into a paralegal-level position with meaningful autonomy and impact. As an Immigration Paralegal you’ll manage your own caseload from initiation through completion, working directly with attorneys and corporate clients on a full spectrum of employment-based immigration matters. You’ll gain deep exposure to complex visa categories, PERM processes, and immigrant petitions while contributing to a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on independence, detailed casework, and making a measurable difference in clients’ ability to secure and maintain U.S. work authorization.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file nonimmigrant visa petitions (H-1B, L-1, E-1/E-2, O-1).
- Manage PERM labor certifications and recruitment steps.
- Handle immigrant petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, and naturalization.
- Advise on immigration options and maintain visa compliance.
- Communicate with clients and agencies; maintain accurate case files.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of business immigration experience, managing cases independently.
- Strong knowledge of temporary visas and PERM/I-140/I-485 processes.
- Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and immigration case management software.
