Specializing in removal defense, family-based immigration, naturalization, employment-based immigration, and appellate work, we provide comprehensive legal support in navigating the complexities of immigration law.
Responsibilities:
- Offer legal counsel and guidance to clients on various immigration matters.
- Possess active bar membership in any state and the capability to practice before immigration courts and USCIS.
- Prepare and submit immigration petitions, applications, and associated documentation to USCIS, DOS, EOIR, and other pertinent government bodies.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of immigration statutes, regulations, and policies.
- Stay abreast of immigration policy changes and regulations, offering advice on compliance to clients.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective client representation.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships through dedicated service and support.
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities and contribute positively to team dynamics.
- Manage a substantial caseload, meeting established case completion metrics.
- Conduct consultations for potential new clients and guide them through the legal process.
- Work alongside paralegals throughout various stages of case proceedings.
- Schedule; Mon-Fri including one Saturday per 4 week rota from 9am-5pm (or earlier finish at approx 3pm or 4pm).
Qualifications:
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
- Proficient legal research and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of immigration law.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred, but not essential.
- Minimum of 2 years of immigration law experience.
