We are seeking a Legal Project Assistant to support the Immigration Team of the Labor & Employment Practice Group. This position will assist with various aspects of the group's Immigration work, and provide support for other projects and matters as required from time to time. Our team is dynamic, collaborative, and innovative, and we seek to provide ample opportunities for advancement and professional development.

Responsibilities:

Responding to client requests and other duties as assigned.
Build and maintain client relationships through excellent written and verbal communication.
Support assigned attorneys in connection with all aspects of Immigration documents, including transcription, proofreading and finalizing legal documents.
Support attorneys in connection with all aspects of immigration case filings, including completing USCIS forms, drafting petition supporting language, compiling relevant immigration documents and evidence, submitting final cases to DOL/ USCIS.
Assist attorneys and paralegals with case and file maintenance, and other administrative tasks.
Utilize case management systems in order to enter pertinent immigration documents, dates and data.
Assist attorneys and paralegals with signature packages and filing packages.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong technology skills and experience with Microsoft Office/Outlook/PowerPoint and willingness to learn additional programs.
Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.
Highly motivated and a self-starter.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
Natural curiosity and willingness to learn.

Quarles & Brady offers competitive salaries, bonus and great benefits to employees including paid time off, health, vision, dental, 401k, life, disability and much more. Benefit eligibility is dependent on hours. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience, education and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The range for this position for individuals physically located in Chicago is $26.50 to $33.00/hour.
