Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mobility & Immigration Specialist to join our enterprise HR Shared Services team. This role is crucial in supporting our diverse divisions by providing expert guidance on immigration processes and relocation services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of immigration laws and policies, as well as strong organizational and communication skills and experience administering I-9 and E-Verify processes to ensure compliance and a seamless experience for employees.

Essential Functions:
I-9 & E-Verify Administration

Own and manage the end-to-end process for Form I-9 completion, including Section 1, Section 2, and reverification using Supplement B.

Administer E-Verify in accordance with federal guidelines, ensuring timely and accurate submission of employee data.

Monitor work authorization expirations dates and coordinate with employees and managers to ensure timely reverification and continued compliance.

Conduct regular internal reviews of I-9 records to ensure accuracy and completeness; escalate complex issues or trends to Legal team as appropriate.

Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Legal teams to resolve discrepancies, mitigate risk, and ensure consistency across the enterprise.

Maintain documentation standards and ensure secure storage and retention of all I-9 and E-Verify records.

Support training and communication efforts related to I-9 completion and reverification requirements.
Immigration Support:
-
Serve as primary point of contact for day-to-day immigration questions from employees, managers, and HR partners.
-
Provide guidance on common immigration topics such as visa types, sponsorship timelines, document requirements, and employee travel considerations.

Act as a liaison between employees, internal stakeholders and outside immigration counsel to ensure timely and accurate case processing.

Gather and organize required information and documentation for immigration petitions, coordinating closely with employees and legal counsel.

Track the status of active immigration cases and proactively communicate updates to impacted employees and managers.

Stay current on employment-based immigration activity and ensure alignment with company processes and compliance standards.

Stay current on employment-based immigration policies and partner with Legal to interpret and communicate regulatory changes as needed.
Relocation Services:

Manage and coordinate all aspects of employee relocations, including logistics, housing, transportation, and settling-in services.

Partner with external vendors to manage relocation cases, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and their families.

Adhere to relocation policies developed by the legal and compensation teams and ensure compliance among all stakeholders across divisions.

Act as the primary point of contact for employees and families during the relocation process, providing support and resources as needed.
Training and Communication:

Conduct training sessions for HR teams and managers on immigration and relocation policies and best practices.

Create and maintain informational resources, such as guides and FAQs, to assist employees with relocation and immigration inquiries.

Foster positive relationships with employees, management, and external partners to enhance the overall relocation experience.
Data Management and Reporting:
-
Maintain accurate records and databases related to immigration cases and relocation activities.
-
Prepare and present reports on immigration and relocation metrics to HR leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; relevant certifications in immigration or relocation preferred.

3+ years of experience in immigration and relocation services, preferably within a corporate HR environment.

In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, processes, and best practices.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.

Proficiency in Workday or other HRIS platforms and related applications.
Working Conditions:
-
Ability to be onsite 3 days a week to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $65,000 - $104,300 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
