We handle family-based immigration, humanitarian relief, citizenship and naturalization, and removal defense. Our mission is to provide high-quality, personalized representation to clients navigating complex immigration matters.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Immigration Attorney to join our practice. This is a full-time, in-person position with immediate availability. The ideal candidate is a newly licensed attorney or a recent law school graduate awaiting bar results, who is eager to develop deep expertise in immigration law while working in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in immigration court proceedings, USCIS interviews, and related hearings
Conduct client consultations and case assessments
Prepare and file immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documentation with USCIS, EOIR, and other agencies
Draft legal memoranda, briefs, and motions
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and policy changes
Manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and legal strategies
Participate in business development and client relationship management initiatives

Qualifications:

Active Illinois bar membership OR scheduled to take the Illinois bar exam in 2025 (must obtain bar license promptly after passing)
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Proficiency in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) required
Prior immigration law coursework, clinic experience, or internship preferred
Strong interest in serving immigrant communities
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases
Professional demeanor and exceptional client communication skills
Proficiency in Google Workspace and legal practice management software

Hours & Compensation:

Full-time (40 hours per week)
