JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Immigration Attorney will manage a team of paralegals and handle a wide range of immigration matters including but not limited to: asylum, removal proceedings, family-based, and business immigration. The ideal candidate will be bi-lingual and fluent in Russian.

Responsibilities:

Manage paralegal/s to prepare and file forms, memos, responses to RFEs;
Research and prepare briefs, memoranda, and motions;
Represent clients in removal proceedings;
Represent individuals and businesses in business immigration, family, and humanitarian matters.

REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years of handling immigration cases
Bar License is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of legal language and principles
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Fluency in foreign language is preferred
