Major, Lindsey & Africa's Talent Group is seeking an Immigration Attorney to provide legal counsel and representation to clients in employment-based immigration matters. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload, and outstanding communication skills for effective client and visa beneficiary interactions. This is a full-time, HYBRID position requiring 40 hours per week for a duration of 4+ months

Overview: Our client is looking for a Business Immigration Associate with experience in employment-based immigration law, proven expertise in USCIS petitions and applications, and strong attention to detail. The role requires managing a high-volume caseload independently and excellent communication skills.

Experience: Over five (5+) years of experience providing legal counsel and representation in employment-based immigration matters, drafting and reviewing legal documents ensuring compliance with USCIS, DOL, and consular requirements, and conducting legal research to stay current on immigration laws and policies.

Location: HYBRID – DC or Miami

Responsibilities Include:

Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, PERM, I-140, I-526E, and I-485 applications.
Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, support letters, and application packages, ensuring compliance with USCIS, DOL, and consular requirements.
Conduct legal research and stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and policies to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
Manage a high-volume caseload, ensuring timely filing of petitions and applications, including responses to Requests for Evidence (RFE) and audits.
Maintain direct communication with clients and visa beneficiaries, providing regular updates on case progress and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative staff to ensure a coordinated approach to client service.
Participate in business development activities, including client presentations, seminars, and networking events to promote the firm's immigration practice.

Qualifications Include:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in good standing.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with employment-based immigration.
Bilingual communication skills a plus
Ability to work flexible hours if a business need arises.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned matters from start to finish.

Pay rate: $110.00 to $120.00
