Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a leading international law firm in its search for a Corporate Immigration Attorney to handle a project on a contract basis. This temporary position is expected to last approximately 2 months and is fully remote as long as the candidate is licensed to practice law in the state where the work will be performed and resides in any of the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington State, or Washington, DC. The candidate MUST reside in one of these states.

This project involves assisting the firm’s current practice group with H1B season, so the person in this role will handle the pre-approval work, review, drafting and preparation for the March 15th deadlines, as well as the remaining process before the April 1st deadlines.

Qualifications:

Must reside in one of the above-listed states where the Firm has an office.
Must be licensed to practice law, in good standing, in the state in which the work will be performed.
2-4 years of current experience handling corporate immigration.
Must have experience with Corporate Visas (H1-B), with the Perm immigration process, and drafting RFE’s.
Ability to successfully work independently and remotely while meeting deadlines.
Strong attention to detail.
All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.

Pay rate: Commensurate with experience, starting at $90/hour.

Duration: approximately 2 months, dependent on client needs.
