We are working with a growing law firm in Dallas, Texas, looking for an Immigration Attorney to join their practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of immigration matters and representing individuals and businesses throughout the immigration process.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of immigration law experience
- Experience handling family-based and/or employment-based immigration matters
- Experience preparing petitions, applications, and supporting documentation
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Must live in or near Dallas, Texas
- Bilingual is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of immigration matters from initial consultation through resolution
- Represent clients in immigration proceedings and before relevant government agencies
- Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, motions, and supporting documentation
- Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies
- Communicate with clients regarding case developments, legal options, and immigration procedures
- Attend interviews, hearings, and other proceedings as needed
The annual salary for this position is between $115K-$165K. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
