Role Description

The Immigration Attorney, Business Immigration, supports the preparation and management of employment-based immigration matters, including O-1, EB-1, EB-2 NIW petitions. This includes drafting recommendation letters, letters of support, forms, compiling case packets, and contributing to case strategy under Partner supervision. The Immigration Attorney will collaborate with and provide guidance to Immigration Paralegals and support staff.

Responsibilities

Maintain communication with clients regarding case progress via email and phone
Assist in developing case strategy with supervising attorneys
Identify required documentation from petitioners and beneficiaries
Request, organize, and review supporting materials from clients
Draft supporting documentation including letters, affidavits, and legal arguments
Prepare and review immigration forms
Assemble case filings and supporting exhibits
Collaborate with paralegals on case preparation and timelines
Review case materials for completeness and accuracy
Assist with responses to RFEs, NOIDs, and other agency inquiries

Work Experience

J.D. and active bar admission in good standing
Strong experience in O-1, EB-1, and/or EB-2 NIW is required
Working knowledge of L-1, E-2, H-1B, and EB-3 cases is preferred
Strong legal drafting and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment
Experience working with paralegal teams preferred
