We are seeking a motivated and experienced Immigration Litigation Attorney with a strong background in immigration law and substantial experience representing clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and U.S. Immigration Courts. This role is ideal for an attorney who is confident managing complex immigration matters, developing legal strategies, and advocating for clients in court.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in Immigration Court for master calendar hearings and individual hearings, both in person and via WebEx
- Prepare, review, and file immigration applications, motions, briefs, and supporting documentation with Immigration Court, USCIS, EOIR, and other relevant agencies
- Conduct legal research and analyze immigration laws, regulations, case law, and policy updates
- Develop case strategies and advise clients on available immigration options and next steps
- Represent and advocate for clients in matters before USCIS and EOIR
- Maintain clear, professional, and consistent communication with clients throughout the legal process
- Manage a caseload effectively while meeting filing deadlines and court requirements
- Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in any U.S. state
- Minimum of 4 years of immigration law and/or litigation experience
- Strong, hands-on experience appearing before EOIR and U.S. Immigration Courts
- Experience handling master calendar hearings and individual hearings
- Excellent legal writing, research, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong academic credentials preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative legal team
