Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to support attorneys with a variety of immigration matters. The ideal candidate will have hands-on immigration law experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications with USCIS, EOIR, and the Department of State.
- Assist attorneys with family-based, employment-based, asylum, naturalization, adjustment of status, DACA, TPS, VAWA, U Visa, and T Visa cases.
- Communicate with English- and Spanish-speaking clients regarding case requirements and updates.
- Prepare legal forms, affidavits, and supporting documents.
- Maintain case files, deadlines, and client records.
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with immigration procedures and firm policies.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of U.S. immigration processes and USCIS forms.
- Ability to prepare and organize legal documents.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
