Blaker & Granet LLP (B&G) seeks a motivated, detail-oriented, and growth-minded Associate Attorney to own nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters from inception to filing. You will work under partner supervision with a direct path to full autonomy with plenty of room for growth within the firm.

B&G is a high-volume boutique serving a variety of clients across industries who expect rapid, flawless turnaround. We aim to deliver white-glove service to our clients. In our model, every role is hands-on. You will not supervise support staff; you will directly draft petitions, compile filings, review evidence, communicate with clients, and take initiative to move matters forward.

Key Responsibilities

Case Execution: Draft, assemble, and file NIV (H-1B, E-2/3, TN, J-1, L-1, O-1, P) and IV matters (EB-1/2/3, PERM, I-130, AOS, Consular Processing).
Client Management: Serve as the primary contact, responding within one business day and proactively setting expectations.
Practice Hygiene: Review source documents for accuracy and maintain precise tracking in our case management system.

Qualifications & Fit

Requirements: J.D., active U.S. bar membership, and 4+ years of business immigration experience across diverse visa types. Prefer a hybrid work schedule in their Century City office at least 3 days/week but open to remote for the right candidate.
Ideal Candidate: Self-driven attorneys who are detail-focused, comfortable working across and learning about varied visa categories. Must be adept at balancing high-level legal strategy, partnership with sophisticated clients, robust communication and detailed execution.
Not a Fit: Attorneys who are: seeking a purely supervisory role, focused on a specific visa type or client industry, unable to adapt to firm standards, bored by details, uncomfortable with direct client responsibility, or looking for a slower-paced environment.
