We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our growing team! Applicants should have at least one (1) year of experience working in a law office and one (1) year of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal. Prior immigration law experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Assisting and assembling assigned case files
Preparing immigration applications such as I-589, I-765, etc.
Preparing EOIR motions
Preparing and translating client declarations, birth certificates, marriage certificates, and other legal documents
Maintaining case files
Other duties as they arise

Qualifications:

MUST HAVE Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
MUST maintain strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple concurrent assignments and constantly changing priorities
Able to effectively manage resources and time
Highly motivated with ability to work in a team environment
Professional attitude and appearance
Previous legal experience in small to medium size law office preferred
