We're a leading, award-winning immigration law firm in San Diego, and we're growing. We're looking for a passionate litigator with at least 4 years in Immigration Court to join our team and defend clients at every stage—from the first master calendar hearing to the Ninth Circuit.
What you'll do:
🔹 Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court (EOIR) and the Board of Immigration Appeals
🔹 Litigate in Federal District Court—habeas corpus, mandamus, and APA actions
🔹 Assist our Appellate Partner with supplemental stay motions before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit
🔹 Draft persuasive briefs and motions, build case strategy, and guide clients through the process
🔹 Mentor our junior attorneys and paralegals
What you bring:
✅ J.D. and active state bar membership in good standing
✅ 4+ years of hands-on Immigration Court experience with a strong removal defense track record
✅ Fluency in Spanish (required)
✅ Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills
✅ A genuine passion for litigation and for the clients we serve
