We are a immigration law firm committed to serving our community. To help non‑native English speakers build confidence and practical language skills, we are offering English lessons to the public. We are seeking an experienced ESL teacher/tutor to lead these small‑groups.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Focus on practical communication: everyday conversation, workplace English, and basic legal/life skills vocabulary (e.g., understanding common legal documents, interacting with public services).
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
- Create a supportive, patient, and professional learning environment.
- Keep brief session notes (attendance, topics covered).
Qualifications
- Proven experience teaching ESL/EFL to adults.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt to students with varying proficiency levels (beginner to intermediate).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
Pay: $200.00 per month
