We are a well-established law firm with offices in New York and New Jersey, seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in immigration law, with a focus on asylum, SIJS, family immigration, and/or business immigration. The candidate must also be fluent in either Spanish or Russian.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation to clients in all aspects of immigration law, including but not limited to, asylum, SIJS, family immigration, and business immigration.
- Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications, including family-based petitions, adjustment of status applications, and employment-based visas.
- Represent clients at USCIS interviews, immigration court, and other immigration-related proceedings.
- Stay current with changes in immigration law and provide legal advice to clients accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with clients and keep them informed about their cases.
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar
- 1-3 years of experience in immigration law, with a focus on asylum, SIJS, family immigration, and business immigration.
- Fluent in either Spanish or Russian
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90k to $110k, depending on experience.
