We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Immigration Case Coordinator who is interested in working with multiple corporate clients and developing deeper knowledge of corporate immigration case management. Position Overview
The Immigration Case Coordinator will serve as a key onsite point of contact for client immigration matters. This role will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, HR contacts, and foreign national employees to support the preparation, tracking, and coordination of immigration cases.
The ideal candidate is professional, organized, communicates kindly, is comfortable managing competing priorities, and is eager to learn the systems and processes involved in corporate immigration law.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with attorneys and paralegals to support employment-based immigration matters.
- Draft standard immigration-related correspondence, forms, questionnaires, and supporting documents for attorney or paralegal review.
- Serve as a liaison between the firm, client HR teams, and foreign national employees.
- Respond to general case-status and process-related questions under attorney or paralegal supervision.
- Collect signatures, documents, and information needed for immigration filings.
- Maintain accurate client and employee contact information.
- Monitor case milestones, deadlines, reminders, and follow-up tasks.
- Assist with onboarding new cases, reviewing intake data, and identifying missing information.
- Maintain case management systems and ensure records are complete, current, and organized.
- Support routine reporting and client communication as needed.
- Perform other administrative and case-support duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2 to 3 years of immigration, legal, HR, or paralegal-related experience preferred.
- Prior experience with employment-based immigration matters is strongly preferred.
- Strong interest in learning corporate immigration case management.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, respectful, and service-oriented communication style with attorneys, paralegals, HR contacts, and foreign national employees.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, document management tools, scanning, and electronic filing systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist with office and client-service needs as required.
- Must be highly proficient with software-based case management and client data systems, including entering, tracking, reviewing, and maintaining accurate client and case information. The ideal candidate is comfortable learning new technology, following data-management protocols, and ensuring information is complete, consistent, and up to date.
