Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Atlanta, GA, for an Immigration Attorney. The role involves providing legal counsel and representation to clients on immigration matters including green cards, visas, family petitions, removal defense, asylum, and naturalization. The attorney will prepare and file legal documents, represent clients in Immigration Court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals, and conduct legal research on complex immigration issues. The position also entails working closely with clients to understand their individual immigration needs, ensuring the highest level of client service and advocacy.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Immigration Law, including experience with green cards, asylum, and removal defense preferred
- Strong research, analysis, and case preparation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities to interact with diverse clients and represent them effectively
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in a state bar; LLM could be considered
- Commitment to serving clients with professionalism and empathy
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus (French and/or Spanish)
- Experience working as an immigration attorney preferred though training will be provided
- Personal integrity in handling ethically complex and confidential situations
