Overview
We are seeking Spanish and Creole speaking paralegals, experienced in immigration law. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of legal principles, particularly in Immigration Law. This role requires a proactive individual who can assist attorneys in various tasks, ensuring that all legal documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations. Minimum 1 year experience in immigration case management.

Duties

Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case preparation.
Assist in the drafting and review of legal documents, including contracts and pleadings.
Perform document review and manage case files to ensure all information is organized and accessible.
Maintain accurate records through data entry and documentation management.
Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for hearings, trials, and meetings.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
Provide administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and filing documents.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a legal administrative role or as a paralegal is preferred.
Strong research skills with familiarity in Immigration Law.
Proficient in document review processes and contract management.
Experience with Westlaw or similar legal research platforms is an asset.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
