We are looking for like-minded individuals who champion our core values. Specific job duties for this position will include:
- Independently drafting documents and forms for visa applications, petitions, applications for permanent residence, labor certification applications, and other non-immigrant and immigrant-related filings;
- Communicating professionally verbally and in writing with business and individual clients and coworkers;
- Analyzing and reviewing case details to determine future actions;
- Assisting with online application processes, including through MyUSCIS, and the PERM, FLAG, and CEAC databases, as well as consular processing through NVC, as appropriate;
- Liaising with government agencies, including USCIS, CBP, DOS, and DOL;
- Gathering and analyzing evidence, reviewing and organizing information and files, and conducting quality assurance review of filings;
- Drafting and revising client advisories related to developments in the field, as well as other written communication pieces;
- Accurately assembling applications and petition packages and files for USCIS and other agencies;
- Coordinating the translation of various documents across a wide range of languages;
- Performing administrative duties related to new client intake and maintaining internal lists and reminders;
- Maintaining a calendar of filing deadlines, processing times, etc.;
- Managing caseload effectively and proactively;
- Focusing on professional development and staying informed on immigration law trends and news, sharing information with others; and
- Working as part of a team and assisting coworkers as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Prior experience in the legal field—employment-based immigration experience a plus;
- Ability to interact with a diverse client base in a professional and service-oriented manner;
- Full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Familiarity with immigration form types and databases (e.g., Cerenade eImmigration, NetDocuments, etc.) preferred;
- Comfort with switching between tasks, assuming different responsibilities, and assisting others as the need arises;
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and a detail-oriented approach;
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload and deal with stress in a fast-paced work environment;
- Effective under pressure and in high-volume situations with multiple priorities and deadlines;
- Ability to demonstrate proactiveness and persistence in daily work;
- Excellent analytical thinking, research experience, and problem-solving skills; and
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

- Desire to continue learning about immigration law;
- Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer;
- Ability to commute to the office. This position is local to our office in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh and is NOT available in a fully remote capacity; and
