Role Description
This is a full-time Associate Attorney position in Dallas, Texas. As an Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work on the following matters:
- Represent clients in various immigration matters, including family-based petitions, humanitarian applications (U visa, VAWA, SIJS), asylum applications, and removal defense.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including applications, briefs, and memoranda.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout their cases.
- Attend court hearings, interviews, and other proceedings on behalf of clients.
- Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and preparation.
- Stay updated on immigration law changes and trends to provide informed advice.
Qualifications
- Experience handling immigration matters and strong knowledge of immigration law
- Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in Spanish is Required
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school/Admission to practice law in the United States
