Goss Law is a small firm located in the North Loop of Minneapolis. Our practice areas include personal injury, and immigration.

We are currently hiring for a bilingual (English/Spanish) legal assistant. Experience is not necessary – as this is an entry-level position and we are willing to train the right candidate --, but any legal or office experience would be appreciated. As a Legal Assistant, you will work closely with attorneys, providing administrative assistance and conducting legal research. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various areas of law.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with drafting of legal documents
Organizing legal correspondence
Answering phones, speaking, and meeting with both potential and existing clients.
Communicating with other professional offices
Opening and closing files, drafting correspondence, and ongoing file management by utilizing legal software as CLIO to input and track case information accurately.
Assisting with paperwork for client files
Copying, scanning, and maintaining file organization
Management of attorneys’ calendars
Some litigation support, including e-filing and e-serving documents

Requirements include, but are not limited to:

Fluency in both English and Spanish, professionally written and spoken
Strong computer skills
Strong writing skills
Strong organization skills
Ability to self-direct and work independently
Excellent customer service and interactions with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
