We are a law firm dedicated to providing legal services and guidance to families and immigrants in matters such as visa applications, green cards, citizenship and naturalization, deportation defense, and employment for non-citizens.
In furtherance of our goals, we are currently seeking an Immigration Attorney with at least one year of experience in removal proceedings to join our team. The position requires one in-office visit per week (under four hours), with the remaining time being remote.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Courts.
- Draft and file various court pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal counsel on sensitive immigration matters.
- Appear before Immigration Courts and other judicial or administrative hearings.
- Collaborate with our legal team to develop case strategies.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.), in good standing.
- Admitted to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, including Puerto Rico.
- At least one year of experience in removal proceedings.
- Strong legal writing and research skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic legal team.
