We are seeking a passionate and driven Associate Immigration Attorney to join our expanding practice in the Dallas area.
This is a meaningful opportunity for a licensed attorney with immigration law experience to grow within a dynamic and respected law firm. The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to take ownership of cases while working alongside a team of experienced attorneys and legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients—both detained and non-detained—in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals
- Conduct strategic legal consultations and develop customized immigration plans
- Visit detention centers for client intake and representation
- Prepare and review a wide range of immigration applications, including asylum, family-based petitions, waivers, and other USCIS filings
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and memoranda
- Guide and prepare clients and witnesses for USCIS interviews and court hearings
- Collaborate with internal legal teams and supervise case progress
- Stay current on immigration law updates and community-based advocacy
- Engage with law enforcement and government agencies when necessary
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law
- Minimum of 1–4 years of experience in immigration law
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with detained and non-detained EOIR cases, family-based petitions, naturalization, and humanitarian relief
